Overview

Your project operates in a dynamic world of stakeholders: from the familiar members of your local project team to hidden project opponents that aren't listed on any org chart. And your success hinges on your ability to meet or exceed their expectations. Success in this rapidly changing environment mandates a new approach. This webinar is based on the book "Managing Stakeholders as Clients" (amzn.to/10NgtpV), published by Project Management Institute and authored by Mario H Trentim, recipient of the PMIEF 2014 Harold Kerzner Award.

Participants will master tools and techniques to involve and engage project stakeholders in a very practical and dynamic way. You will learn to:

  • Effectively identify stakeholders
  • Gather information to analyze stakeholders - Conduct assessment and prioritization
  • Strategize about stakeholder engagement
  • Plan communications
  • Proactively involve stakeholders and get their buy-in
  • Get feedback, monitor and control stakeholder engagement

For almost 15 years, Mario Trentim has been working as PMO manager, program and project manager in large engineering projects (Aerospace, Defense, IT, R&D, Telecom and Infrastructure).

He is a consultant, professor and book author on project management, business strategy and innovation. He is Director of Research at IBADE, Brazilian Institute for Corporate Development, and owner at Trentim & Associates – Strategic Project Management.
