Consulting is often viewed as a rarified and exceptional skill-set, performed by highly trained people in expensive suits. The reality is something very different. We are all consultants. Every single one of us.

Accepting this truth will be a challenge on several fronts. The first thing that we have to confront is what it means to be a consultant. The second challenge to be addressed is our own pre-formed biases of how we view consultants and consulting.
