Project Management and Its Influence on Traditional Management Methodology

 

This paper presents how project management has changed the traditional management schools of thought and delivery. The six schools and project management are defined as history, theory and practice. Methods of project management delivery and evidence of increased presence in the boardroom are presented as well. A real world case of a particular use for project portfolio management is recorded for clarity and application purposes.
