Your first line has 6 syllables. This haiku stuff isn't easy.

I think we have a plague in today's workplace, and it is called email. Email instead of walking to the office next door. Email instead of picking up the phone. Email instead of thinking. Email to put things off. Email that is too easy to filter and ignore. Email that reduces human conversation. And then there is texting.... an entirely different intrusion on everyday life.
Oh for the "old days" /
When people talked face to face /
Instead of typing

Now we have new days /
When we all talk with our thumbs /
Who predicted this?

It's too far to walk to you /
I just send email

Emails, texts, chats, oh my! /
Why not simply use the phone /
Or, best, face to face?

If thumbs had lips... sounds like a good book title, don''t you think, Rami? :)
Ohoh - Stephane - the Haiku police will be looking for you. You are following my errant six syllable example. ;)

Since I cannot edit my comment, I guess I'll post my law-abiding poem again

A book or a song/
Thumbs with lips would not do well /
Any genre fails!

If thumbs had two lips /
Would they have talking mouths too? /
