Have you ever wanted to ask a question in one of our discussion boards, but became overwhelmed by the number of boards to choose from? Were you afraid that your question would go unanswered in an inactive board? Well fear no more because we have streamlined our discussion boards on ProjectManagement.com!

We had one goal in mind while consolidating our discussions boards --> to make them easier to use so that you get the answers you need. When you visit our Discussions page, you'll find that we kept our most active boards while filing and tagging posts from inactive boards in the appropriate areas.

Here are some tips for making the most of discussions on ProjectManagement.com:

  • Provide question details when possible to provide context for your question - the more your peers know, the more they can help!
  • Tag your question with up to three tags - tagging your question helps direct your question to people who can help. It also helps it to be found when using the filter option!
  • Discussion questions should comply with ProjectManagement.com's User Guidelines.

Go check it out and get involved in the conversation! Ask a question about a project you're working on or find one where you can lend your expertise. You never know, you may have the answer someone is looking for!

I happened upon the change when looking for a past discussion. I liked the various boards (or was simply used to it), but completely agree that providing a useful experience to the community is vital in promoting engagement. Keep the great updates coming!

One of the best decisions I made was to be an active participant in this community. I look forward to others joining in the discussions!

Kristin, thanks for the update. Limiting the number of boards was a good idea. Could you please elaborate on how to use the tags and the filters when looking for discussions where one can help?
Thank you!
