Has Anxiety been Sustained or Overruled in your Life?
From the The Battle-Hardened PM Blog
by George Freeman

In March of this year, I wrote an article called “The Risk of Sustained Anxiety,” where I addressed the purpose and impact of anxiety, along with thoughts on how to mitigate its effects in our lives. And now that we have endured six months of covidian time, I thought I would ask, “has anxiety been sustained or overruled in your life?”
So, although I could craft a thousand additional words on this subject, we would all be better served to hear what you have to say. So, what say you?

Anxiety comes and goes depending on the situation especially these days with this high level of uncertainty so I would say it’s neutral for now.

I'd say anxiety is a state of mind. To avoid or minimize anxiety what helps a lot is good exercise, good sleep, good eating habits, and good time management. There are unpredictable things that can pop up, but when one is well grounded with the items I listed, it can make it easier to deal with anxiety.

Dear George
If anxiety = Stress, I can say that we cannot live without stress
If anxiety = psychiatric illness, it shouldn't go away that easily
I have friends who have gone into depression. Many of them (1 year later) still haven't managed to overcome this situation
