Responsibility Matrix
Format: Evaluation Assessment
The purpose of the responsibility matrix is to identify early on which departmental roles or individuals will be assigned to complete certain categories of activities. Next, define the extent of responsibility and and the relationships among groups. Complete this matrix in the early planning stages before your commit to more detailed resourcing or scheduling. (This is a high-level version fo a RACI Matrix)
What will I get from doing this?
Completing this matrix will give you quick insight into how responsibility will be shared across various aspects of the project without going into the task-level detail covered by a RACI matrix.
