The following are some hints and tips to consider when using this template:

Keep it appropirate to the project. Not all projects require a detailed, formal justification. If you project is small, then don’t spend week and months building your business case. For those large projects, a 2-page business case may not get very far.
The project has been approved, but we still need the business case. In the event that your project has been pre-approved and where the justification is more of an afterthought, find out the degree of justification that is needed. Sometimes a simply business case without much of the detail will be all that is required.
