This summary is used as part of project review and selection to help ensure that the organization understands the potential risk exposure that it faces prior to approving the project. It forms part of the overall business case that approval is based upon by the project selection board or equivalent. This document is shown in Word format for ease of formatting of the text; it can easily be copied into Excel if you wish to use calculations. The risk exposure information can be copied straight from the two checklists related to this summary and requires no further explanation.
