In my teams approach to celebration, we organize three key celebration category.
(1) Firstly, we combine our monthly achievement reviews with birthday celebrations for team members born in that month, creating a dual-purpose gathering that recognizes both professional accomplishments and personal milestones.
(2) Secondly, for project phase deliverable acceptance, we opt for a more casual celebration, typically organizing a lunch or dinner at a local restaurant. This relaxed setting provides an excellent opportunity for team members to unwind, bond over a meal, and discuss their experiences and challenges in a less formal environment.
(3) And lastly, upon project completion, we host a more significant celebration that includes main stakeholders, often held at the project site or a suitable local venue. This event features a spread of food and non-alcoholic beverages, allowing for meaningful interactions between team members and key project participants.
