When crisis strikes, our strength as a community truly shines. Whether it’s a natural disaster, conflict, or another urgent need, project professionals around the world have stepped up to offer help, hope, and hands-on support.

That’s why we’ve created the PMI in Times of Need forum—a dedicated space for you to share stories, resources, and ways to take action. This is where we come together not just as professionals, but as people who care.

Use this space to:

   - Share how you've responded to hardship using project management skills
   - Offer support, tools, or volunteer opportunities
   - Connect with others who are organizing local or chapter initiatives
   - Learn from experiences around the world

No act is too small. Whether you're coordinating relief efforts, donating your time, or just sharing an idea—you’re helping make an impact.

This isn’t about frameworks or methodologies—it’s about mobilizing our community to help others when they need it most.

We want to hear from you. Have you ever used your project skills to help during a crisis—big or small? What happened, and what did it teach you?

Join the conversation here: PMI in Times of Need

Because Together We Can make a difference.

This is a great initiative, Ricardo Triana .

It will be great to see how project professionals around the world can come together to support others, not just with tools and methods, but with care and action. I really like the idea of having a space to share stories and learn from each other during difficult times.

I was part volunteer board member for the PMI Northern Utah Chapter, and even though I’m not active now, I remember how much impact small actions can have. In our chapter, we worked with local nonprofits during our conference days like the Utah Diaper Bank and created school kits for kids. Although there were not big projects, but they brought people together and made a difference in our community.

I look forward to following this conversation and learning from everyone’s experiences.
