Change Management Series - Projects as complex change initiatives

Change management can be looked from several perspectives - small and medium sized "events" such as product go-lives, technology changes etc. but mostly happen over a short period of time. In this case we assess the risk, readiness and if we are given the approval, we go ahead and implement it. There are also large transformation programs such as datacenter migrations that consist of hundreds or thousands of small changes and may take years. There is also a third type - changes where we are not focusing on process or technology but people. I would say these are the most complex ones and I would like to give some examples (similar to case studies) of those where I and my teams had to walk our stakeholders from current state to future state and the challenges, Lessons Learned and successes that we experienced in Canada. > Organization in the Medical Field, > Legislative body > Educational institution > Government
