Group Intelligence, A Systemic Approach To Change

This webinar explores Group Intelligence, a systemic approach to Change Management. It is based on the book, "The Hive Mind At Work", by Siobhan McHale. The author has given her full permission to use her material. The core of the book centers on how organizations are struggling with Change Management in today's disruptive environment. Change failures usually stem from two conventional ways of thinking about Transformation:  (1)  Organizations function like machines, where managers can "fix" problems with an engineer's mindset (Intelligence quotient or IQ),  OR (2) People form social networks wherein individual influencers can make change happen by developing effective interpersonal relationships (emotional quotient or EQ).  The book introduces a third option:  Organizations are complex ecosystems that require a Hive Mind or group intelligence (otherwise known as group intelligence or GQ) to get optimal results.
