Many organizations seek to transition from traditional project management methodologies to agile ones.  Some are contemplating this, some are in the midst of doing so, and some are already agile in their approach.  However, there are costs to agility that are easy to miss and account for.  Because of this, agile processes can fail unnecessarily.  This has even caused some to doubt their validity in general.

This presentation will introduce the arguments in favor of adopting agile processes, then examine these hidden costs and suggest ways to not only overcome them, but to actually capitalize on them.  Also, some concrete steps that can be taken immediately will be offered.

No technical knowledge will be required to attend; this talk is intended for everyone.
