The inaugural PM Wars Tournament will be hosted this year at the 2017 PMI Global Conference. Attendees of the conference can compete and demonstrate their skills and knowledge in a fun competition throughout Conference in the Expo Hall.
Click this link to sign up in advance and reserve your spot in the competition. Registration will also be available in the expo hall during the event but space is limited; reserving today can ensure you get to participate!
PM Wars at the PMI 2017 Global Conference pitches you head to head against other attending PMs in a test of your Project Management knowledge. You'll have 90 seconds to answer as many questions as possible. You get +2 points for a correct answer and -1 for a wrong answer. You are allowed to skip questions, but only three times.
This tournament will be conducted using a single elimination style bracket where the most knowledgeable PMs will advance. Registration will be available at the PM Wars booth at the start of the event; slots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
The tournament rounds will last throughout the PMI Global Conference, cumulating with a final battle to determine which PM's knowledge stands above the crowd! Prizes will be granted for first and second place:

Bose Quiet Comfort 25 Acoustic Noise Cancelling Headphones for Apple devices.

Fitbit Charge 2.
NOTE: Participants must be in attendance at Global Conference and able to compete in their chosen or assigned time slots. Anyone not able to compete at their time(s) will forfeit their competition and the other PM will advance.
Date: 10/28/2017 (Sat.)
Time: 9:00am - 6:00pm EDT
Location: Exhibit Hall

Cool! Since everyone is in person, should think about changing the format up a bit - more like chess. Participants can stop their clock upon answering - tracking time and correct answers. Adds another element to the competition.
Have fun everyone!

I love it! Hopefully, there will be consideration in the future for a virtual PM Wars Tournament. Enjoy!

Thank you for the positive energy everyone! We are definitely hoping to have a bit of fun with everyone at the expo.
@ Stéphane: We do have a virtual PM Wars right here on ProjectManagement.com!
Here's the Link: https://www.projectmanagement.com/PMwars/
The key difference between the virtual tournament and the one at PMI Global Conference is that you get to pick who you challenge via ProjectManagement.com :)
This is the same resource we will use at the event, but you control who you challenge and each of you can take the 90 second challenge when you are ready!

I was thinking of making it a tournament, with elimination rounds, Craig.

Ahhh! That would be very cool and fun. If I survive Global Conference let's be sure to have a chat and explore the idea?
