Top of the Pile !
From the The Big Time Blog
by Rami Kaibni
Managing any project successfully is all about Team Work combined with years of Accrued Expertise. It is an asset to have an educational background that compliments your field of expertise but "education" without "experience" is like an "arrow" without a "bow." You can never make a perfect shot with a temporary arrow unless you have a permanent bow called: "Life's Experience." Remember, you can never teach experience but you can always teach from experience.

Usually when people achieve success, they start relying on it and might slow down ignoring all the changes in the world around them.
Don't ever let success get to your head because what is more important than reaching the top of the pile is STAYING THERE.
Always Remember: The Road to Success is always Under Construction !

Thanks Steven, will do. Yes, I created this one today.
I might be young somehow but I've learned things the hard way and had to do it myself so I've had my share of experience in this tough life and I like to share things from my experience which I believe are related to Projects Management.
I've learned to always work hard on staying on top of the pile, not reach the top and relax.
"Road to success is always under construction". Good one, Rami. We may add that while the road is under construction, the very ground under it also keeps changing all the time!

@Prabhaker: Thanks for your input Prabhaker - Of course the ground keep changing this is why it is always under construction amd to maintain success you need to cope up with all changing grounds.

Much like companies who are "number one" in their industry. Just because you reached number one doesn't mean you can just remain there if you do nothing. Another company is close behind. I love the "road to success is always under construction." True! You must be striving to keep moving forward. There is always something new to learn.

I believe there was a discussion around this in the forms around the ivory tower syndrom. Some lessons learned for sure.

@Rachel: You're welcome - Thanks for your feedback. I am glad you liked it.
It is very rare that success can go to someone's head these days I presume. The key is lessons learned and listening to others and doing your own research on the subject matter of the project.

@Larry: Thanks for your input. I agree with what you are saying and this is the right way to do it. Yet, some people get obsessed with their success and forget all this and forget that they have to work on maintaining it.
