Team Work Success !

From the The Big Time Blog

Managing any project successfully is all about Team Work combined with years of Accrued Expertise. It is an asset to have an educational background that compliments your field of expertise but "education" without "experience" is like an "arrow" without a "bow." You can never make a perfect shot with a temporary arrow unless you have a permanent bow called: "Life's Experience." Remember, you can never teach experience but you can always teach from experience.

Successful team work plays a pivotal role and contributes significantly towards the success of any project. Henry Ford describes the steps to achieve team work success in a simple quote:

                  "Coming Together is a Beginning

                                      Keeping Together is Progress

                                                     Working Together is Success"

Always Remember: TEAM = Together Everyone Achieves More !

Ensuring a team will work together effectively requires regular engagement of the team which includes enabling for time for the team to build relationships and establish trust with each other. Even virtual teams I want to try to get together in one location at least once a year.

@Gina: Of course building relationships and trust takes time but time is of essence in projects so the PM should be smart enough to minimize this timing required to build this team and yes I agree to get together with virtual teams at least once or twice a year.
