Well I believe that timing is key for effectiveness and success, having to do any thing timely makes a big difference.
Whatever you want to execute do it in its proper time you be more successful and efficient to achieve best result.
To illustrate further taking an example of managing people if any one from your team did something good and you want to reward or give recognition then please hurry up don't delay don't ruin the moment, it will feel more pleasure and more effective when it comes in the same time, this is also driven from same LEAN philosophy " JUST IN TIME" so we can adopt this on small activities and dealing with people as well and the results are amazing,
Now that's in the positive way how about the negative things for example someone in the team did something wrong and you need to talk to him or write up so again don't delay otherwise the effectiveness will loose strengths of course there are few exceptions for that if he is doing an activity and if he get distracted then it might turn more dangerous and could cause safety issue then you better wait until the job finish or have someone else to do it, human error tend to be more when someone preoccupied and loose focus on the process.
There is a wisdom says Do Not postpone Today's work to Tomorrow. so procrastination can bring very negative results.
This was just a brief message on how timing is important it is not about JIT details as the examples are endless.

Rami, haha nah, just drinking coffee wise :-)
Call it timing, karma, prayer, grace.....
There is an unknown element of chance in everything you do.
Work and personal- one wrong word on one wrong day and you just missed that job or your potential partner, just as one right word can give it.
Quote from Dumbledore:
Words are in my not so humble opinion the most inexhaustible source of magic, capable of both inflicting damage and remedying it.
Your entire world can change in a 15 second window - so timing is important

Very true Riyadh. If you don't do it immediately, especially appreciating the team member or members, you will definitely miss the moment.
As project managers you are always swamped with work & the missed moment will never come back. Especially when you work with millennials, who need more appreciation than the previous generation. It is important to allot time for appreciating team members
