Of course, you can correct post-implementation quality issues. If the issue was detected after delivering the product to the customer, it could be classified as Non-conformance Quality cost, which is a cost that the company expends due to a failure to ensure the required Quality.
You should review the contract with the vendor and check if the desired feature was included. If yes, you can send a claim to the supplier enterprise; if not, you can renegotiate the contract, including the feature, considering an additional cost. These activities are part of Acquisition Management.
