The 1,365 cryptocurrencies now have a total value that tops $600 billion USD.  The first of January this year there were 617 cryptocurrencies with a total value of $17.7 billion USD.

Now that is growth - where it goes from here is anyone's guess.

@ Brian I looked at the two technologies (cryptocurrencies and blockchain) and applications and saw potential. I did not see the meteoric rise in monetary value - that is not my area of expertise. I just heard a country is naming a national cryptocurrency. Another sign of adoption and move toward the maturing of the technologies. This is on my list to continue to watch!
