The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 is now in our rear view mirror.  CES began way back in 1967 and that makes this the 51st CES Show.  There was so much new and emerging technology was present it is difficult to summarize.  That being said the two factors that stick out is the integration of multiple areas of new and emerging technology into new and updated product and service offerings that are designed to benefit the average consumer. I could not help but think about all the programs and projects that were managed to their successful completion to make all that was on display at CES 2018 possible.

Great show, and a great year for its inception. Must just be a coincidence I was born in the same year ;-)

Good insights, Kev!

With the accelerating pace of technology change and ease of learning about "new stuff" in other means, perhaps CES's focus will shift from showing "new stuff" to teaching us how to better exploit it or to use it more appropriately!
