Recently, in a speech, Christine Lagarde Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), issued a warning to financial institutions that . . .
“We are about to see massive disruptions” resulting from the combination of cryptocurrency and blockchain distributed ledger technologies. She went on to stress that institutions and regulators must “adjust… to the impact of the combined breakthrough technologies that will impact markets.”

Those are very powerful words, but wait - there's more!
In Bank of America's recent Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, the bank stated cryptocurrency poses a competitive threat to its business on three separate occasions within the document.

How can anyone question what you have been saying about cryptocurrencies for some time now! The impact is now being felt.

Evolution is hard to be stopped. Even Western Union is switching to Ripple for it's transactions.

It seems they are becoming more and more are afraid of cryptocurrencies, because they forget to invest in new technologies. Creative destruction can't be stopped in any business. The same applies for renewable energies.
That's interesting Najam. I wonder why XRP has gone down further since that article.
