Well you can't be more blunt, that's for sure.   On Jul 26, 2019 - the management consulting firm PWC issued a stark warning via an article.  The Economic Times published the article titled, "Businesses erring in ignoring quantum technology: PWC"

Are you at risk of becoming irrelevant?

Multiple emerging technologies stand poised to alter many of the business and operational models currently in place and establish new models, industries, markets and expectations.  This will dramatically change the way organizations operate and the way business is conducted as well as what customers are likely to expect and demand.  A survey of professionals determined that only about 5% had initiatives underway and felt they were prepared. Clearly, organizations and professionals must aggressively adapt or risk becoming irrelevant.

A  recent article published by FORTUNE stated “40 percent of the world's jobs will be replaced by technology in the next 15 years.”  If you are not planning on retiring by then, you had better start looking to acquire new skills that will be in demand by 2030.

When you think of the jobs/work-tasks for the current state of robots many are sure to come to mind.  One that surely doesn’t come to mind was just assigned to a robot and announced.  The job? Installing a telescope to look deep into the cosmos from the moon.  Take a look.

Another interesting breakthrough in robotics!

As the current state of robotics continues to rapidly advance, some of the breakthroughs are jaw-dropping to be sure.  Here is one of those jaw-dropping advancements.  It deals with a new experimental robot arm/hand that grips and sensors in the arm/hand can ‘taste’ what it touches.  Check it out!
