In an email from MIT, they wrote:
"There's no denying it.
Quantum Computing (QC) is close to realizing its potential of having a substantial impact across industries. In fact, Gartner's "Top 10 Technology Trends for 2019" report predicts that by 2023, 20% of organizations will be budgeting for quantum computing projects."
Are you ready to manage a quantum computing project?

Another quantum computing authority has aligned with the aggressive commercialization. IBM recently said, "The global vice president at IBM told the opening session of IBM's think Summit Taipei that IBM will have the first commercialized quantum computers available in 3-5 years."

The International recognized management consulting firm McKinsey and Company, just released this interesting PDF document, A game plan for quantum computing. While the first part of it just goes over the basics of quantum computing, it was interesting to read their perspective on How will businesses use quantum computers. They also project when quantum computers will arrive that begin to provide real value to businesses. This is the shortest time estimate till that occurs that I have seen. It is also an interesting read for the non-technical investor/customer or person of interest from an internationally recognized trusted management advisor.

"Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western Spiral arm of the galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun. Orbiting this at a distance of roughly 98 million miles is an utterly insignificant little blue-green planet whose ape-descended life forms are so amazingly primitive that they still think digital watches are a pretty neat idea..."
