They say that, in a carpentry shop, there was a strange assembly.
It was a meeting where the tools came together to analyze and discuss their differences.
A hammer held the presidency, but the participants demanded that he resign.
It made too much noise, and besides, it spent all its time hitting.
The hammer accepted his guilt, but asked that the screw also be expelled, claiming that he went around a lot to get something.
Faced with the attack, the screw agreed, but in turn asked for the sandpaper to be expelled.
Said she was very rough in her treatment of others, always getting into friction.
The sandpaper complied, with the condition that the metro be expelled, which always measured the others according to their measure, as if it were the only perfect one.
At that moment the carpenter entered, gathered everyone and started his work.
He used the hammer, the sandpaper, the metro, the screw...
And the rustic wood became beautiful furniture.
When the woodworker left, the tools returned to the discussion.
But the saw came forward and said:
- Gentlemen, it has been shown that we have defects, but the carpenter works with our qualities, highlighting our valuable points...
So instead of thinking about our weaknesses, we should focus on our strengths.
Then the assembly understood that:
• The hammer was strong
• The screw joined and gave strength
• Sandpaper was special for cleaning and smoothing roughness
• The meter was precise and accurate.
• They felt like a team, capable of producing with quality;
• And great joy came over everyone at the opportunity to work together.
The same is true of human beings.
When one person looks for faults in another, the situation becomes tense and negative.
On the contrary, when you sincerely seek the strengths of others, the best human achievements flourish.
It's easy to find faults...
Anyone can do it!
But find qualities?
This is for the wise!!!
